Breaking News Pullmantur Sovereign Has Accident in Naples Italy Ship and Peir Damaged Early Reports

it’s prettier with traveling with Bruce
got some breaking news here September the 26th looks like the poolman tour
sovereign cruise ship on a cruise from Barcelona into the Mediterranean was
heading to Naples today she had an accident
in the port of Naples early reports are that the ship sustained some damage as
well as the port number of ferries were delayed in departure as the port
officials are trying to work out the details more news will come out as we
ago here is the couple shots of the port
it’s quite congested here it’s quite tight the reports were that was quite
windy today bit of a storm system has been moving through the area and I guess
the the harbor a pilot would have been on board the ship with the captain of
course and the crew trying to navigate their way into the port you can see on
the top there how tight it is for some cruise ships to work their way in there
this port is literally in the heart of downtown Naples and I guess the ship
being over 800 feet long another 79 feet long 100 feet five feet wide and 74,000
tons and 2700 potential passengers a bit hard to handle I’ll try to keep the
updates coming as we get more info but that’s the latest the poolman tour
sovereign has had an accident in Naples at the harbour who crashed into the pier
we don’t know how bad it is as soon as we know we’ll update you with more talk
to you soon bye for now

  1. Thanks for the update. Our 3rd cruise was on Sovereign of the Seas in 1991. She was the world's largest cruise ship then. That was a long time ago and she is only an aging, mid-sized ship now. Oh, the transience of cruise ships from star to clunkers. How sad.

  2. Thanks Bruce for the update. You are defiantly the cruise man to go to for all for cruise info. You should be on the travel channel.
